By plane
Málaga Airport (AGP) is the main gateway, 88 km away: about 1 hour by car on the AP-7 toll motorway or around 1 h 15 on the free A-7. It has direct flights from most European cities all year round.
Gibraltar Airport (GIB) is closer, 37 km and about 40 minutes: after landing you walk across the frontier into La Línea and continue by car or taxi. It is served by flights from the United Kingdom.
Seville (SVQ) and Jerez (XRY) airports are around two hours away by car and can be a good alternative in high season.
By car
Hiring a car is the most convenient way to explore the coast. From Málaga airport follow the AP-7 or A-7 towards Marbella, Estepona and Algeciras; Casares Costa is signposted between Estepona and Sabinillas. From Gibraltar or Algeciras take the A-7 towards Málaga, about 35–40 minutes.
A private parking space in the residence is included with the apartment, so you never have to look for parking.
Taxi and transfers
A taxi from Málaga airport costs roughly 110–140 € depending on the time of day; a pre-booked private transfer costs about the same and is often cheaper for larger groups. Local taxis serve Sabinillas, Manilva and Estepona.

By bus
There is no railway on the western Costa del Sol; the nearest train stations are in Málaga. Regional buses run along the A-7 coast road between Málaga, Marbella, Estepona, Sabinillas and Manilva, with stops near Casares Costa. A car is still recommended for day trips.
